Moving Holocaust Exhibit Now Open in Plainview
A series of panels created by Czech school children tells the story of people who disappeared.
You may have read recently about the Manetto Hill Jewish Center's moving effort to restore its Holocaust Torah. Now, a moving exhibit is on display at the center and is open to the public. It's all part of the synagogue's continuing dedication to never forget that terrible era.
Each day the "5 Things" column will tell you five essential pieces of information you need to know today, like events happening or community topics being covered on the site later on in the day. Have an event or topic that should appear in this column? Add it to the calendar or send us a news tip.
