Plainview Student Shares Sympathies with Sandy Hook

JFK Freshman leaves memorial wreath at Connecticut school memorial.

A Plainview JFK High School student recently traveled to Newton, Connecticut to honor the 26 lives lost in the Sandy Hook shooting.

Jasmine Anastasiadis, a freshman, had the opportunity to deliver a wreath to a memorial where hundreds of other visitors also left flowers, stuffed animals and other tokens of condolence.

Anastasiadis stated she was deeply moved by the experience and honored to represent the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District.
