Tell Us: Peter King's Reaction?

Did the congressman's attack on members of his own party surprise you?

Rep. Peter King was simply livid: When the outgoing Congress failed to enact its promised Hurricane Sandy relief package, the congressman let them have it:

"We cannot believe that this cruel knife in the back was delivered to our region," said King, R-Seaford, on the floor of the House of Representatives. "I have to go home this weekend and next week and the week after and see hundreds of thousands of people who are out of homes, who don't have shelter, who don't have food.

"...This is not United States of America," King said. "This should not be the Republican Party. This should not be the Republican leadership."
