Temple Celebrates Moms, Israel

Temple Beth Elohim combined Mother's Day with a celebration of Israel's independence.

On Sunday, May 8, Temple Beth Elohim celebrated Moms and Israel by hosting
a Mother's Day breakfast for their families and celebrating Yom HaAtzmaut,
Israel's Independence Day.

Sponsored by the Religious School and supported by the Temple's Brotherhood, everyone was treated to a wonderful breakfast of bagels, cream cheese, cookies and coffee. The children had fun playing games outside.

The attached photos tell the story best.

Temple Beth Elohim is a Reform congregation serving Plainview - Old Bethpage and surrounding communities since 1955.

With special thanks to Debbie Baer
