TODAY'S 5: Israel Captured in Photos

A reception at the library tonight features the remarkable "Impressions of Israel" exhibit taken by members of Temple Chaverim.

 

All this month, remarkable photographs of Israel are on display at the Plainview Library, shots taken by members of Plainview's Temple Chaverim. A public reception tonight at the library will honor these award winning photographers and bring their stunning work to a new venue.

1. Temple Chaverim hosts a reception for its exhibit: "Impressions of Israel," at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library from 7-9 p.m. Monday. Light snacks and beverages will be served. The exhibit is a collection of nearly 100 memorable images of Israel, taken by its members.

2. East Meadow visits Plainview JFK for a boys basketball game against the Hawks today at 4:45 p.m.

3.The Mid-Island Y J C C presents a program on the work of a doula and childbirth with Debbie Rotunno, President of the Long Island Doula Association. Q&A following presentation; free.
