SpringFest Plainview Old-Bethpage Chamber of Commerce

Bethpage Public Library

For over fifty years, Bethpage Toastmasters (formerly known as Northrup Grumman Toastmasters) has been meeting on the first and third Tuesday of every month, with the goal of helping residents and friends of Bethpage and the surrounding communities improve their public speaking skills and leadership ability. 


The mission statement of the club reflects these values: “We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth”.
On Tuesday, June 4th 2024 Bethpage Toastmasters will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with a 70s-themed (the decade the club was founded) event at the Bethpage Public Library, its usual meeting spot. We would welcome any members of the press that find this event noteworthy to join us or otherwise cover the event. We believe your readers could find this coverage useful as it may inspire them to begin their own public speaking journey.
