The Tanners Pond Environmental Center/ Garden City Bird Sanctuary is sponsoring the fall outdoor Benefit Yard Sale on Saturday, September 7th from 9 am to 3 pm. (Rain date is Saturday, September 14th.) Great items can be found.

“We have many unusual pieces which will appeal to everyone, such as collectibles, antiques, sporting goods, housewares, china, garden tools, clothing, books and much more.  This fall we are also selling plants. Please join us!” said Liz Bailey, sale coordinator and one of the TPEC directors.

Do you hate the idea of having your own garage sale with the hassle of putting up posters all over town, advertising and people tromping on your lawn?  This fall, 10 by 17-foot spaces may be reserved for $45, providing sellers with an opportunity to sell their own garage sale items (includes room for sellers' car next to them). Fees are tax deductible.

If you wish to reserve a space, contact Liz Bailey at emb158@aol.com or 248 8447 or Annette Seltzer at toniann48@yahoo.com.
