Former Plainview Resident Among Group of WWII and Korean War Veterans to Visit Long Island's Newest Museum
Bob Rubin (second from the right), a former Plainview resident, who served in the U.S. Army during WWII, was part of a group from The Bristal Assisted Living Community of East Northport who toured The Museum of American Armor. The museum replicates the sights and sounds of American forces during World War II and offers one of the most compelling educational tools our region has in telling the story of American courage, valor and sacrifice. The Museum is located at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration on Round Swamp Road. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM.
