A Bethpage teen has earned the highest award a Girl Scout can earn.
Sabrina Jensen of Bethpage was honored for earning her Girl Scout Gold Award by Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Legislator Rose Marie Walker recently.
Earning the Gold Award requires a minimum of 80 hours of planning and implementing a challenging, large-scale project that is innovative, engages others, and has a lasting impact on its targeted community with an emphasis on sustainability.
