Sikh community will remember the victims of the Newtown slaughter.

Members of Plainview's Sikh community will hold a candle light vigil Monday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. to honor the children and teachers murdered in Newtown, Conn., last week.

The vigil will be held at the Guru Gobind Singh Sikh Center on Old Country Road in Plainview, just east of the Morton Village Shopping Plaza.

The entire community is invited to pay tribute to those lost.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
