The Manetto Hill Jewish Center kicked off its Chanukah Celebration and Community Menorah Lighting on Monday, Dec. 10, a joyous festival of tradition and renewal.
During Hebrew School, the students cooked and ate latkes, created arts and crafts projects and sang Chanukah songs. The community celebration followed.
Rabbi David Senter led a discussion about Chanukah and Judah Macabee and then, with the students, lit the menorah, to celebrate the Festival of Lights.
