Christmas Eve Services Around Plainview

Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus with a variety of services beginning Friday afternoon.

It's a compelling story of a homeless family on a journey to their hometown to register for taxation. It tells of the meek who recognize the majesty of the moment and how the powerful miss the point entirely.

And the story has been told for two millennia in homes and spiritual gathering places not unlike the churches of Plainview, Long Island.

The Nativity story that emerged from the First Century A.D. arguably changed world history. It's message strikes a universal chord about Peace on Earth. It will be told tonight all over the world.
