Entertainment Options Around Plainview Tuesday

During Lent, Our Lady of Mercy has special Masses.

1. There's a fundraiser Tuesday night at 7 at the , The comedy performance by is a benefit for the Long Island League to Abolish Cancer. Open to all.

2. The Radish Group at the  offers entertainment for seniors, 60 and over, hosted by performer John Walters, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

3. Throughout the Christian observance of Lent, Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church offers three daily Masses at the church on South Oyster Bay Road, including today. The daily masses are said on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7, 8, and 9 a.m. There are two Masses on Thursday and Friday at 7 and 9 a.m., and on Saturday at 8 a.m. Fridays during Lent also means the Stations of the Cross, which will be held on March 25, April 1, 8, 15 at 7:30 p.m.

4. The offers veterans a wide array of health care and other services. The facility is located at the old office complex off Old Country Road.
