Kristallnacht Commemoration

This Tuesday evening, November 8th all are welcome to participate in this service commemorating the 73rd anniversary of the Night of Broken Glass, when a series of attacks against Jewish communities throughout Nazi Germany and Austria destroyed homes, shops, villages, towns, and synagogues and marked the beginning of the Holocaust.  There will be a gathering at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 99 Central Park Road, at 6:45 p.m. for a procession to the Manetto Hill Jewish Center, 244 Manetto Hill Road, for this memorial.  The Manetto Hill Jewish Center has asked that the procession arrive by 7:15 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. service.
