Yom Kippur, the most solemn day of the Jewish calendar, begins at sunset Tuesday.
The Plainview Jewish Center is holding services open to the community on Wednesday. There are as follows:
- Young Family Service 10-11 a.m.
- Community Yizkor 2 p.m.
Both programs are held in the youth building adjacent to the main PJC building.
