Good Shepherd Hosts Fall Festival Saturday

Old fashioned fun with children's costume parade, baked goods and brats and more.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is hosting its annual Fall Harvest Festival Saturday beginning at noon. 

The annual event include a children’s costume parade, pumpkin and face painting, scarecrow making (bring scarecrow cloth), apple pie and baked goods contest and a bake sale. There will be pony rides for the young people, as well.

A farmers' market with fresh local produce, cider and seasonal plants, will be on sale along with theme baskets raffles, brats and refreshment.

Cost: $15 at the door, total not to exceed $25 per family. The event runs noon until 4 p.m. at the church property, located on Central Park Road just south of the Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School.
