Great Books For a Great Town

There will be a Dramatic reading of "Wonder' as part of the "One Town, One Book" program Thursday. What books would you like to see in future years?

On Thursday night the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library is going to host a dramatic reading of scenes from the novel "Wonder."

It's the story of a fifth grader with a severe facial deformity and the world around him and it is this year's selection in the Town of Oyster Bay's, One Town Book program.

The program is designed to promote literacy by asking residents to read and discuss the same book.

Last year, "The Great Gatsby,"  a book near and dear to many Long Islanders was chose.

We want to know what books you'd like to see in future years. What books do you think would resonate with Long Islanders or Oyster Bay residents.
