High Wind Advisory Issued For Region on Saturday

The weather has turned on us suddenly, but there's lots to do around town and a short drive away.

The has issued a high wind advisory for Saturday, which blows in to town with a cold front that will drop temperatures into the 30s. Saturday will be a far cry from Friday's spring-like feel.  

The high winds, which could exceed 50 mph, could bring down tree limbs and power lines in some places, so exercise caution. .Winds are expected to be out of the northwest 25-35 mph with isolated gusts near 60 mph.

The NWS says unsecured items such as garbage pails and construction material may be blown about Saturday and driving may be difficult. Power outages are possible.
