July 16: More Heat

A look at events going on in and around Plainview.

Hot Times: The heat wave that's been baking our area is expected to continue Tuesday with temperatures expected to reach 93 according to the National Weather Service.  Town pools will remain open to 9 p.m.

Salute to America: The Town will celebrate it's annual Salute to America on Tuesday. There will be a musical performances by the Broce Springsteen tribute band, "Tramps like us. and fireworks by Grucci at John J. Burns Park in Massapequa. It all starts at 7:30 p.m.

Story Time: The Plainview Old Brthpage Library will hold a pajama story time for kids 3-5 at 7:30 p.m.

Library Meeting: The Library Board of Trustees will meet at 6:45 p.m. The publis is invited.

There will be a yoga class at the library at 5:15 p.m.
