School Board Proposes $134 Million Budget

The Plainview school board has presented a proposed budget that Plainview Patch will tell you about Wednesday. There's free yoga at the library Tuesday evening.

1. The Plainview-Old Bethpage introduced a preliminary 2011-2012 budget of just under $134 million, or a 2.4 percent increase over the current school year's budget, at Monday night's meeting. The tax rate would remain under 3 percent.
