Springtime in Plainview: Share Your Photos

Share photos and tell us how you feel finally being out of winter.

Spring has officially sprung.

According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, spring started at 7:02 a.m. Wednesday with the vernal equinox (equal night) in the Northern Hemisphere. During an equinox, the sun rises and sets due east and west. This means that the Earth's axis neither points toward or away from the sun.

Unfortunately, the winter weather is taking its sweet time getting out of the area. Temperatures will remain in the 40s for the remainder of the week.

How does it feel to be out of winter? Have you seen any budding flowers in the dirt or on trees? Have you spotted any robins and cardinals (not in Vatican City)? Share with us.
