String Band Plays Traditional Music at Plainview Library Tonight

The free concert is one of the offerings around town today.

Plainview residents have a great chance to enjoy traditional American music tonight at a string band concert at the library.

1. A group called the Hometown String Band offers a free performance of traditional American rural songs and original music on a variety of instruments. The event takes place in the auditorium of the at 8 p.m.

2. Do you know a kid with special needs? The South Levittown Lanes, 56 Tanners Lane hosts an for anyone with special needs age 5 to young adults.  Siblings welcome too.  It's $5 for two games and shoes from 2-4 p.m. No registration required.
