Zumba Fever at the Library; Entertainment at the Y JCC

The Ides of March brings activities to our area.

It's Tuesday, March 15, the "Ides of March," the date in 44 B.C. when history says Julius Caesar was assassinated by the Roman Senate. No toga runs are planned for Plainview (there is one near the Forum in Rome) but there's a meeting of the Long Island Runners Club and lots of other things to do.

1  excitement comes to the: Registration begins Tuesday for a 10-session course. Cost $40. First class is Tuesday March. 22.  .

2.. The  meets Tuesday at the library at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the sport and upcoming events.

3. It's Tuesday, which means another Radish Group show for seniors 60 and older at the  Today and an associate perform from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
