Big Softball Matchup Tuesday

A new photo exhibit opens at the Museum of Art

There's a big softball matchup today involving two area teams and a new exhibit of photographs by a legendary photographer at the Nassau County Museum of Art.

1. The St. Anthony  will face  (11-8) Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Hofstra University's softball field in a Nassau-Suffolk CHSAA semifinal. The winner will face Kellenberg immediately afterward in the championship game. Whoever advances would have to beat undefeated Kellenberg (19-0) twice to claim the league title.

2. A new exhibit at the features more than 50 photos of photographer The event runs daily through Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

3. The  has a variety of offerings Tuesday, including a Yoga session at 5:15 p.m. These events are open to all. For more, check out our "events" listings or the library's web site.

4. It is a mitzvah to enable people to say Kaddish, and theasks your help to make that happen. Morning minyans take place at 6:30 a.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Evening minyans are at 8 p.m. Sunday to Thursday.
