Fall Harvest Festival at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

Good Old Fashioned Family Fun!  The day's activities will include a Children’s costume parade (wear your own Halloween costume), Pumpkin painting, Tattoo & face painting, Scarecrow making (bring scarecrow cloth), Apple pie and baked goods contest, Bake Sale, Farmers Market (Fresh local produce) cider and seasonal plants, GROCERY TOTE BAGS may be purchased at the booth.  There will be theme baskets for a raffle, refreshments including hot dogs, cold drinks and snacks.  Live Blue Grass Fiddle Music.  PONY RIDES  for the youngsters    Lots of surprise activities  planned for this country-style festival, including Mr. Softee, a Plainview fire truck will be on display, and a clothing drop box for clean reuse able clothing, blankets & shoes (all sizes, men's, women's, children's) for Veterans' Administration.    $10 in advance for all children's activities/$15 at the door, total not to exceed $25 per family.  Advanced tickets may be purchased from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday in the School Office.   For more Festival information call 516 349 1966

PLEASE NOTE:  The Veterans’ Administration will be on hand to collect clothing, blankets, and shoes (men’s women’s, boys’, girls’, all sizes) to assist veterans, past and present, and their families.
