We’ve come up with  some ideas, both indoors and out  for you to get out and enjoy the summer nights.

1. Feast of St. Rocco

Where/When: Church of St. Rocco, 18 Third Street, Glen Cove, 516-676-2482, saintrocco.org., Thursday July 28 through Sunday July 31. Thursday and Friday @ 6-11 p.m.,  Saturday @ 1-11 p.m. and Sunday @ 3-10 p.m.

2. The Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra

Where/When: Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park, Washington Ave. 516-565-0646, npsc.org., Friday, July 29 @ 8 p.m.

Why Go:  Hear musical favorites from Broadway, television and the movies with vocalists Jack and Ann Cassin and conductor Lou Panacciulli.

3. Our Lady of Mercy Summer Fair

Where/When: Our Lady of Mercy Church, 500 South Oyster Bay Road, Hicksville, 516-931-4351, July 27 through Sunday July 31 @6-11 p.m.

Why Go: The fair will offer live entertainment, rides, games, food, raffles casino and more.

Pricing: Free

4. Seussical The Musical

Where/When:  St. Killian’s, 485 Conklin St. Farmingdale, 516-249-0127, Saturday July 30 @ 8 p.m. and Sunday July 31 @ 3 p.m.

Why Go: See the musical based on the characters and stories of Dr.Seuss.

Pricing: $12.00

5. Historical Baseball Tournament

Where/When: Old Bethpage Village Restoration,  1303 Round Swamp Rd., Old Bethpage, NY, 516-572-8400, Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31 @ 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Why Go: See Vintage base ball clubs throughout the northeast who will join the Old Bethpage Village Old time Base Ball clubs in playing two days of 19th century rules baseball in the uniforms, style and rules of several early base ball eras with a concert by the Old Bethpage Village brass band in the afternoon.

Pricing: $10, $7 ages 5-12 or 60 and older
