Patch Highlights: Week of May 12-21

1. Crash Kills Teen: Kristian Espenas, a 2010 graduate of Plainview JFK died Friday May 13 in a one car accident on the Northern State Parkway, leaving the community grief stricken.

 2. School Budget Passes:  Plainview voters OK'd the school district's $134 million budget.  There were tense moments as the vote was being tallied:.

3. Animal Blessing: Temple Beth Elohim held a Blessing of the Animals that drew the community together in a story of Noah.
