An evening of dance and exercise raised almost $700 for Plainview's efforts.
Zumba instructor Samantha Witt donated her time and expertise, leading a large group of volunteers through the flashy dance/exercise moves at the Plainview Middle School Friday night.
The class was led by Witt, a graduate of a professional dancer and certified Zumba instructor. Zumba blends international music, created by Grammy Award-winning producers, and dance steps.
The Relay for Life is a volunteer-driven cancer fundraising event of the American Cancer Society.
