Elementary Students Get Safety Tips from Plainview Firefighters
Pasadena and Parkway elementary students learn fire safety basics.
Students from Plainview's Pasadena and Parkway elementary school’s recently participated in fire safety week.
Members of the Plainview Fire Department visited with the first and second graders and gave a presentation about fire safety and prevention. Students also learned what to do in the case of an emergency, what a first responder looks like and how to “Stop, Drop and Roll.”
The day included many fun activities for the students, including the chance to dress up like a firefighter.
