Lions Club Donates Dictionaries to Plainview Students
Elementary students get to look up longest word in the language.
Members of the Plainview-Bethpage Lions Club donated a pile of new dictionaries to Plainview 3rd graders recently.
The Lions make the special effort each year:
"We are extremely appreciative of this resource," said Dr. Lorna Lewis, superintendent of Plainview schools
Lewis said the students were excited to receive the new dictionaries and had the opportunity to look up longest word in the dictionary.
