Support for Women Diagnosed with Cancer on LI

The Women's Therapy Center in Plainview provides comprehensive services for women with cancer. If you or a loved on has been diagnosed with breast or a gynecological cancer and you are in need of support services please do not hesitate to reach out and contact us.

We offer both individual therapy and group support. Support is available for women newly diagnosed, in active treatment, or those living life after cancer.

Jennifer began her Oncology career in 2007 at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC and has been working in Oncology ever since. At Mount Sinai, she was a breast oncology social worker providing individual and group support, as well as navigation services for all breast cancer patients. Jennifer worked closely with the Medical Team of  breast oncologists, surgeons, plastic surgeons, radiologists, nurse practitioners and other medical staff. As a result, Jennifer has extensive knowledge about the medical components of cancer.

In addition, Jennifer also specializes in working with women who are BRCA+, pregnant during cancer treatment, and the younger population. All of these women experience many of the same issues and concerns as the general breast cancer population, but there are a few unique challenges these women must face.

Please read more about our cancer services on our website at www.wometc.com. We are proud to serve the Long Island community and recognize that many women need support during this most difficult time.

Please not that our support group services are FREE at the Center. Individual therapy is fee per session.. We do not accept insurance but we do participate in out-of-network insurance.  Please contact us for rate information and to find out more about this.
