David's Jewelry Opens in Bethpage

New store opens doors on Stewart Avenue.

A new jewelry store has recently opened in Bethpage on Stewart Avenue.

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano helped celebrate the grand opening of David’s Jewelry recently.  Store owner David Mullokandoe was on hand to accept a citation from Mangano.

“Our local businesses are vital to our community, they create jobs, serve our residents and help keep down property taxes for our homeowners,” Mangano said.  “In these harsh economic times, it is encouraging when businesses open and contribute to our local economy.

"I thank David for choosing Bethpage as the home for his new store and I wish him luck in all his future endeavors.”

The store is located at 568 Stewart Avenue, just east of Route 135.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
