Empty in Plainview: Burger King Disappears [Poll}

Almost overnight, a Plainview restaurant turns out the lights and takes down its signs: What restaurant should replace it?

Sunday's sudden closing of the at 1082 Old Country Road stirred all sorts of ideas about what should replace it. A Patch reader contacted us last night to say the signs and logos on the store had been removed.

Amazingly, the restaurant was open on Saturday. A sign in the window Sunday cited lease problems.
