In memory of , who died Sunday after battling cancer, Catch the Wave will donate 50 percent of all sales for the day to raise money for Spencer's family. Spencer, a freshman at Plainview-JFK High School, battled cancer for months. The event will go on as scheduled Monday.
Organizers are asking the entire Plainview-JFK student body to wear white on Monday in Spencer's memory.
