Mid-Island Y JCC KISS Program's 8th Annual Ladies Night Out

Help them help the children.  Join the Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center for a night of fun at the 8th Annual “Ladies Night Out” event to benefit The Special Needs K.I.S.S. Center (Kids In Special Services) on Wednesday, May 16, 7 p.m. at Temple Chaverim, 1050 Washington Avenue, Plainview.  The festive evening, “Celebrating Our Winners,” will feature cocktails, dinner, DJ, dancing, shopping and raffles.

Created in September 2005 with funding from The J.E. and Z.B. Butler Foundation, The K.I.S.S. Center offers services to children and teens with developmental disabilities and learning disabilities including language delay, ADHD, Asperger’s and autism spectrum disorders.  It provides a safe environment in which children and teens with special needs can develop socially, strengthen fine and gross motor skills, and foster independence, confidence and self-esteem.

The cost is $80 per person.   All proceeds from the event will benefit The K.I.S.S. Center programs and help provide supported services for children and teens with special needs and their families.  For more information, sponsorship opportunities, raffle prize donations or to purchase tickets, please call Linda at 516-822-3535, x358.
