Fair Media Council to Hold Job Fair at Connection Day

Annual media networking event set for Oct. 26 at Briarcliffe College in Bethpage.

For the first time, the Fair Media Council will host a job fair as part of their annual connection day event, being held this year at Briarcliffe College in Bethpage on Friday, Oct. 26.

The event is geared towards giving local businesses and non-profit organizations a chance to meet and pitch stories to local media outlets.

This year, the event is changing its format to offer more networking opportunities and is expanding its panel offerings with topics on politics and the media and social media expert panels.

Also new this year are a limited number of sponsored tickets on a first-come, first- served basis for people who want to go but can't afford a ticket. For more information you can go to their website here.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
