  • Welcomes new ACP members to the medical office
  • Assists patients with any questions and/or concerns in all areas including (but not limited to) health plan enrollment, medical claims, benefit interpretation / verification, referrals/authorizations for medical care, follow up appointments, prescriptions, etc.
  • Gathers information obtained from member encounters for analysis; continually reviewing available data to determine how to better service patients
  • Identifies areas of improvement and implements finding in accordance with the Office Manager and Regional Practice Administrator
  • Shares feedback and best practices with clinical staff and other Patient Ambassadors, to ensure an ideal and consistent experience across all of ACPs medical centers
  • Presents at meetings on results on patient satisfaction scores
  • Trains front-line staff on best practices and customer service initiatives
  • Provides patients with applicable information/materials upon request and escalates issues that need follow-up
  • Monitors patients in waiting room, and actively works to resolve issues and address concerns
  • Problem solves on behalf of the patient and works to resolve patient flow issues
  • Responsible for contacting members filling out negative surveys, Ombudsmen forms, and any letters received by disgruntled patients.
  • Follows-up on patient requests, and serves as the voice of the patient
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality in dealing with all patients, staff members, etc.
  • Attends staff meetings or trainings as required by Regional Practice Admin

Human Resources Manager Banfi Vintners, Glen Head

Duties:

  • Manage, train and mentor direct reports. 
  • Manage temporary staffing for administrative and clerical personnel.
  • Manage and maintains the ADP/HRIS (including Time-Off & Open Enrollment modules) that meets management information needs.
  • Coordinate all benefits administration including Medical, Dental, HSA/Flexible Spending, Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment, Profit Sharing/401(k) Plan.  Participate, as needed, in annual healthcare review and updating of plan structure and open enrollment.
  • Collaborate with VP, HR relating to the implementation of new benefit plans and changes to existing plans and delivery of plan education to employees.
  • Manage and assist in the administration of all aspects of our HR recruitment process from initial dialogue with hiring managers, recruiters, job posting sites to bringing new employees on board.
  • Interview candidates for clerical and administrative positions.
  • Manage and assist in the HR Onboarding process and Orientation Program for new hires.
  • Maintain the work structure by working with department heads to update job descriptions for all positions.
  • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, and sexual harassment.
  • Oversee the maintenance, electronic filing and communication of records required by state and federal law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies and procedures are in compliance.
  • Consults with Legal and CFO as needed.
  • Manage intern program for local high school students.
  • Organize/manage Annual Health Fair & Take Your Child to Work Day
  • Work with hospitality team in organizing and coordinating HR corporate events, i.e. annual holiday party, retirement dinners, employee occasion receptions, annual picnic.

Duties: 

  • Supervises clients
  • Provides a safe and secure environment and applies Agency approved methods of behavior modification, including the behavior modification system, the point system, verbal de-escalation techniques and physical intervention
  • Shifts/sites assigned vary and change according to Agency needs
