NeuLion, Barclays Center Reach Deal

Plainview company to provide digital streaming service.

NeuLion has reached an agreement with the Barclays Center in Brooklyn that designates the Plainview company as the exclusive provider of digital internet streaming services at the arena.

The new service will provide fans with live, HD video for select Barclays Center events, excluding NBA games. The partnership gives fans access to select live arena events delivered to PCs, smartphones, and tablets.

Barclays Center fans will be able to buy a digital ticket to watch a live event.

The new service provides Barclays Center and its event promoters an opportunity to reach local fans or connect with new fans who do not live in the New York area.

NeuLion will design and deliver the service using its award-winning NeuLion TV Everywhere Platform, offering fans live HD events online while connected to today's top PCs, smartphones and tablet devices. The service, powered by NeuLion, will offer fans interactive features for replays, programming guides, highlights, DVR, and more. The service features will include additional camera angles, selectable audio choices, and supplemental content from back stage and player interviews.

"Watching live sports and concerts online has never been more incredible, " said Chris Wagner, executive vice president and co-founder of NeuLion. "We are excited about our partnership with Barclays Center. Together we are taking the in-arena experience and bringing it online, adding even more ways for fans to engage with their favorite sports and entertainment content anytime, anywhere."
