The three large signs are highly visible to the street. All of the signs are similar, with red, handpainted lettering that advertises 'FRESH EGGS'.

Known in Plainview as the “Fresh Eggs” Farm, this Washington Street landmark's correct name is Borella Farms.

Eggs were indeed quite fresh. The chickens on the farm had just laid them yesterday morning.

Two varieties of eggs were for sale recently: brown from Rhode Island Red chickens at $3.50 per dozen and white from White Leghorn chickens at $3 per dozen.
