Plainview Burger King Closes Doors

TODAY's 5: Local institution shuts down Sunday. Cause unclear at the moment.

One of Plainview's two Burger King restaurants, a Plainview fast-food institution on our eastern side of Old Country Road, shut its doors Sunday.

The at 1082 Old Country Road near the was open Saturday but closed on Sunday. A sign on the door made mention of an issue with its lease. It is not clear if the closing is temporary. We are seeking answers today from the corporation.
