Special Benefit Planned for Special Young Man

A local business is sponsoring a benefit to remember Plainview's Joseph Sadowski.

The remarkable yet too-short life of will be remembered on Saturday at a benefit fund-raiser at Family Bagels of Plainview. You can be a part of it.

The 7th grader loved sports and played for the Plainview Jayhawks football team. He was the kind of kid who liked to make others happy. Joseph lost his battle with Leukemia in April. He was 13.

1. Plan now to take part in the event Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at , owned by the Schatt family, at 140 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview. Organizers are inviting the entire community and show support for the Sadowski family. There will be raffles and children's activities during the event.
