Trio Hardware to Celebrate 50th Anniversary Saturday
Plainview institution in Morton Village to host prizes, giveaways and celebrate half a century in town.
A Plainview institution is about to hit a major milestone.
Trio Hardware will celebrate its 50th Anniversary Saturday with a big public party, specials and giveaways at its store in the Morton Village Shopping Center on Old Country Road.
The event will be held all day and the community is invited.
It will be a "day to celebrate good old fashion fun," said Francesca Carlow, who with husband, Bruce, own the centerpiece of the shopping plaza that sells a wide range of home improvement, hardware and mechanical goods. The couple also has two partners in the business, Todd and Ritsa Kirschner.
Trio will be open regular hours Saturday from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. The all-day festival will include pictures, history, raffles, popcorn and lollypops.
Their motto has been through the years: "If we don't have it, you don't need it."
