Trio Hardware's Anniversary Draws Friends, Dignitaries

50th Anniversary celebrated as Plainview institution.

The public officials were out in full force last Saturday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Plainview's Trio Hardware and Paint.

The Morton Village institution threw a party for the community with bargains, balloons and a variety of fun activities.

Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto was joined by fellow Republicans, Council members Joe Pinto, Michele Johnson and Town Clerk James Altadonna Jr.

District Court Judge Rhonda Fischer was also on hand to congratulate owners Francesca and Bruce Carlow, Rita Kirschner and the store's employees.

Nassau Legislator Judy Jacobs, D-Woodbury, also stopped by.

“Trio turned a small part of Plainview into a phenomenal and thrilling fun fair," Jacobs said. "It was terrific to share such a great day with such wonderful people.”
