Psychotherapist- Breast Cancer in Plainview

I am a psychotherapist who specializes in counseling for those affected by a breast cancer diagnosis. My belief is that every woman diagnosed deserves a safe space to talk about these feelings. Some concerns breast cancer patients can experience include: treatment options and surgery, treatment sides effects (hair loss/"chemo brain"), body image, sexuality and intimacy, talking to loved ones and children about cancer, financial stressors,  decisions about returning to work, fertility or egg harvesting, fear around recurrence or living with metastatic disease. My practice is in Plainview and I have weekend hours available. Please contact me at 516-776-8835 for a free consultation.  http://therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/prof_detail.php?profid=167897&sid=1381795623.0833_26227&zipcode=11803&tr=ResultsName&trow=19&ttot=60
