DECA Raises Money in Memory of Spencer Reis

Fashion show raises $1,000 for leukemia research.

Plainview JFK's DECA club has raised more than $1,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of a beloved former student.

DECA's fashion show, entitled "Fashion Fights Back" was held in honor of Spencer Reis, a Plainview JFK student who died from leukemia in April of 2012.

Students modeled trendy clothes from Men’s Warehouse, Aeropostale, Max and Gino’s, Ruby and Jenna, Simply for You, Front Cover and Estelle’s. Party Harty donated DJ services for the show while Village Cards and Gifts donated balloons.
