Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island and The Little Shelter are bringing cars, canines, cuisine and cocktails together for a Runway Fashion Show by Harbor Hound Monday night
The event, set for 7-10 p.m., is taking place at the Plainview dealership on the South Service Road. The proceeds will help The Little Shelter, one of Long Island's oldest no-kill shelters, to raise money to rebuild the damage incurred by Hurricane Sandy.
Animal lovers around Long Island are gathering together to support the fundraiser. Some of Long Island's best restaurants, including Prime, Mitch & Toni's American Bistro and Tomato Artisanal Pizza are providing the food for the event and promoting it to their patrons.
The fashion show is showcasing new apparel found at Harbor Hound, Cold Spring Harbor's pet boutique, modeled by The Little Shelter's finest animals. The evening is also featuring a wine tasting by VinoFiamma, signature cocktails by Black Lab Vodka, raffles and a silent auction all to benefit the shelter.
Pre-Sandy, Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island hosted several charity events to help their community. They have coordinated events to benefit various local and national foundations such as the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center, The Cardiovascular Research Foundation and Toys for Tots.
Since the hurricane, the dealership is helping its locals by throwing fundraisers including this special one to show it's support for the island which was so heavily devastated.
Tickets for tonight's event are $80.
