John McEnroe to Visit Sportime

Tennis star will coach young players at Bethpage Sportime Saturday.

A tennis star will head to Bethpage this weekend and coach star athletes as part of the John McEnroe Academy of Tennis.

Tennis star John McEnroe will head to Sportime Bethpage Tennis where fans will watch him train and coach local tennis standouts. McEnroe and world-class trained staff will coach John McEnroe Academy of Tennis "Rising Stars."

Sportime Syosset Tennis & Multi-Sport will also hold a 10 and Under Tennis Carnival with quick and fun lessons to introduce young ones to the sport.

Both programs will be held Saturday from 1-4 p.m.

Syosset's carnival will include refreshments, arts and crafts, mutisport games, and plenty of tennis.

New York Live Community will also attend the carnival with their Child ID program.

Stop means stop. Just like stop signs, where it seems like the local definition is to slow down toRead More 30 mph. You STOP, and look. Then go. I have seen kids having a tough time crossing Jamaica Ave because of this twisted definition of STOP. If anything, this is a good way to relearn what should of been taught in drivers ed. When I moved to Plainview, people at a stop sign would signal the driver that got there first to go. Now it's a race to the stop sign and fly by it to avoid having the other guy go first.
