Plainview JFK Bowling Team Raises Money for Cancer Research

Students challenge teachers; raise $200 for Cancer Society in memory of beloved business teacher.

Plainview JFK students and teachers recently participated in a fundraiser to raise donations for the American Cancer Society.

The JFK Boys & Girls Varsity Bowling Teams sponsored a fundraiser in which each member of the team invited a staff member to bowl two games with them. Each staff member and student made a donation in order to bowl.

More than 20 Plainview JFK faculty members supported the worthy cause. The event raised over $200 for the American Cancer Society in memory of Michael Secko, a beloved business teacher who recently passed away from cancer.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
