Plainview School Board Meets Tuesday Night

The meets tonight at 7:45 p.m. as the district makes its final push toward the end of the school year.

1. The Board of Education meets at 7:45 p.m., following its usual executive session to discuss personnel matters. We'll have a story tomorrow in

2. It's "Play Hooray" day at the  at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Children ages 6-18 months with an adult can join in nursery rhymes, books, music, dancing and other movement activities. Open to All.

3. The library has lots of events today: One is a free Yoga session with Sharon Starr at 5:15 p.m. Click here ( calendar ) for more local events.

4. Adventureland Amusement Park, with rides, games, and food, has been open for spring break week, including Tuesdayy. The park is open from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Price: $21 for kids 4 feet and under, $25 for everyone taller.
