Question of the Day: a Ban on Children

Should restaurants ban children because of their occasional bad behavior?

When a restaurant in Pennsylvania decided to ban children under 6, it set off a debate among parents and other patrons.

At issue is what to do when the bad behavior of some children disturbs other diners. Many parents have experienced the dirty looks of other patrons when their children misbehave. And other restaurant goers have often been annoyed by loud or crying tots.

What do you think? Should restaurants simply act on a case by case basis? Do other patrons have a say in the matter?
